So now let's talk about types areas and groups. And when we're talking about check-in this is really the what of check-in. So what are you checking into? So let's go ahead and take a look at this. Now, the main area that you're gonna look at when defining the these areas and groups is under admin tools, check-in, check-in configuration. And at the very top, we'll see that there's different, types of check-in that you can configure. So let's just flip over and take a quick look. So admin tools, check-in, check-in configuration. Okay. So you can configure check-in for various different things. So here we have volunteer check area and weekly service check-in area. And you can go ahead and add new ones if you'd . So let's go ahead and click on, weekly service, check-in area. Now we're gonna go through a lot of the settings here in a little bit later. But what we really wanna focus on is just this, screen in general at a high level and really focusing on these areas and groups down below. Okay. So these areas which are in blue are basic, logical things or logical subcomponents that you can check into. So in this case, we have nursery, preschool, elementary, junior high, etcetera. And so you'll see those, when you're going to the check-in screen, the the initial startup, you get to actually pick which ones of these, areas you're gonna be checking in for. So, on that first screen, you select these. Now, the green things are the actual groups that you'll be doing the check-in for. Okay. So those are the, the green ones. So let's go ahead and look at the area. So of course, you give it a name, and then you can choose what, type of check-in that you want to apply for. So you can inherit from check-in by ability level or by age or by grade. Okay. So we just do check-in that just means there's really not going to be any filtering to that. If you choose by ability level then it's going to look at the person attributes, to see what ability level that child is at and allow it to, be shown or not shown for that specific child. And age and grade are the same thing, but obviously using different criteria. So you can have, check-in rules that says, , do what what's the group membership, need to be to check into this, to these groups? Is it, none, which means you don't have to be a group member and we won't add you. Do you wanna be added as a group member when you check-in or already belong? So it requires that you already be a member of that group. For normal children's check-in, you want to be none because you don't really want to require that they're a member of that group. And then you have some print settings do you want to print to the devices printer or to locate the printer defined by the location. And then lastly, you'll just add the check-in labels that you want for checking into groups of this area. Okay? Now, if we go ahead and choose the actual group, this is where we're gonna define a lot more of the configuration based on what we selected in the area. So, of course, we have the name and then we said for groups in this area, they had to do it by ability level. And so this is where we'll define what that ability level is. We can add an age range and a birth date range. Also, need to configure each of the location and rooms that will be for this group. Okay. So in your nursery, you probably might have more than one location, so you'll define it here if you do. So that's where you would define your areas and your groups. Also, once you define all of that, you wanna come over here and look at the schedule. Okay. So that's gonna allow you now to start scheduling when you can check-in to each of these groups slash locations. Okay? So for every group and location, combination, you'll see a line and then you can just pick when you're going to allow check-in. And so this is why it's important that you have your service times, already set up so you can come in here and do this. Now this screen can seem somewhat overwhelming especially if you have a lot of, rooms, but if you use the filter, you can actually filter it down by building or down to a specific room which makes the list, a lot more manageable. Okay. So that's how you configure, check-in areas and groups.
