Okay. So let's talk about batches within Rock. Batches are what group and hold transactions. So we'll find those under finance, batches. Okay. So now we'll see a listing of of batches that are in the system. And notice at the bottom, there's actually totals by account for those batches. Now, having this here is actually really helpful because if we use this feature in combination with the ability to filter on batches, there's a quite a few things that you can filter on. You can actually basically use this as a reporting tool for batches. And a lot of people do that. A lot of people find that this actually is a pretty good reporting tool, for batch information. So from here, can pick all kinds of different filters that you want. But let's go ahead and look at the details of a batch. Okay. So at the top, we'll see the date range for the batch. We'll also see certain totals for the batch. So we'll see the transaction total. This is the amount that we actually calculate off the transactions below. But we'll also see the control amount. So if a control amount was hand entered, based off of a 10 key, that will be shown and then the variance between those two amounts. And if that variance is anything but zero, we really note that on that list that we were just looking at. Off to the right, we'll see account totals for each account that a transaction in this batch is for and also currency totals. So generally, that'll be one currency type in a batch but sometimes you'll have more and then so you'll see a break down of that. Below that are just all the transactions in that batch. Now, are some options here. So you can you can optionally show check images or you might wanna see a summary of that transaction And that'll go ahead and put that right into your grid, which is helpful, assuming there was a summary. So note that. And we can also see what all the changes that have been done to this batch by looking at the audit log. And that show us everything that was changed for that batch. Another quick handy tool is if we use open up this little panel drawer here, we can see, , who was the last one to create it and then who was the last one to modify it. So that's a quick way of seeing that also. Now batches have, a few different statuses. Okay. So the statuses generally that you'll use are open and closed. Typically, a batch is not open for very long before it's closed. But there's also this status called pending and that means that the batch is currently being edited. Usually this is used, in conjunction with check scanning. So this means that maybe checks are still being scanned into that batch and so it's really not open, but it's not in a state that you can actually or probably should be, doing work on it. You have the batch start and end date, the control amount, that's where you type that in. You can tie a batch to a campus if you'd . You can also give this batch an accounting code. Okay. And that's what's gonna match over to your external accounting system. And you can have a note about the batch. So that is, an overview, quick overview of batches in Rock.
