If you wanna use group RSVP, the first step is gonna be setting it up. So let's see how that's done. The first step to enabling group RSVP is to enable group RSVP, and we do that on the group type. And so we're gonna head over to admin tools and general settings, and we're gonna access the group types. Now, for our example, I'm gonna go ahead and use the small group group type. And under the general settings, we're gonna scroll to the bottom and make sure that group RSVP is enabled. And it is, and we have that available. And so we're ready to go for any groups of the small group type. While you're editing the group type, you may also want to add some public group member attributes. I'm gonna show you what that looks . Now, if you've already set up an attribute, much of this is familiar, and so I'm gonna use some video magic to fill this in. And there we have it. I've added a transportation needed attribute that I will have invitees respond to as part of their acceptance process for the group RSVP. We'll show you more of what that looks in a later video. For now, I wanna highlight the public checkbox, and I'm going to enable this and set it to yes. The public checkbox is what enables this group member attribute to appear as part of the group RSVP process. Now that I have my attribute set up, I'm gonna go ahead and save. And to make sure I don't forget, I'm also going to save again. And we're ready for the next step. Now that we've enabled group RSVP for the group type, we can go to groups of that type and see the RSVP information. To do that, we'll go to the group viewer, just normal. So under people and group viewer, we'll go to, I happen to know that there's a small group section here called the Gilbert group. And we can see here, now that RSVP has been enabled, that this group has a Group RSVP icon associated with it. For comparison purposes, our Sports Ministry group does not have that icon because Group RSVP has not been enabled for that group type. So, going back to one of the group types that does have it enabled, we see that if we click this icon, we are presented with a list of RSVP occurrences, which we're gonna get into in the next video. But for now, don't be worried if you don't see any occurrences right off the bat. You may need to add some manually. Again, we'll show you how to do that in a future video. And it's true, there are a lot of options that you have when setting up occurrences, which is why we dedicated a whole video to it.
