So let's talk about the concept of tags in Rock. So tags, if you think about it, it's kind of the concept that you might have inside of your, photo editor or your your photo sharing application where you can go through and just add tags to different photos of different people or different locations or different events. It's the same type of thing in Rock. You can basically use tags for any way you want to tag people. Now, here we are on the person profile for Ted Decker. And if I go up into the bio bar where it says add tag and put my cursor in there, I can start creating tags. Now, let's just say one possible use, maybe the church is working on an event for a cruise in 2017. So, maybe you're not ready to create a group for it. You just wanna start tagging a few people who have shown interest or maybe you wanna put on an interest list. So you can just type Cruise 2017 and then enter. And what it's gonna do is say, hey, I I don't see a tag in Rock, for Cruise twenty seventeen. Do you want me to create a new personal tag right now? And I'm gonna say yes. And so a personal tag is a tag that only I can see. So no one else in Rock will be able to use the Cruise twenty seventeen tag right now. Now, might be that too, maybe I wanna keep a list of potential volunteers. So I'll go ahead and make that. Okay. So I've gone ahead and created that tag too. So now I have these two tags. So say now that I want to, go over to another record. And let's go over to Ben Jones here. And I'm thinking maybe he should be a potential volunteer too. And now that I've already created that tag, it's gonna auto, complete here for me and I can go ahead and pick potential volunteers. And so now you see I can quickly and easily start adding these tags to people. Now, it could be the case that that cruise tag is something that I really wanna share with the rest of the staff. So, what I can do is I can come under people and tags and this is where I'm gonna see all of the tags I've created and it's a great place for me to come in here and see the list of the folks And I can actually manage them. I can take them out of the tag and edit the tag itself. So in this case, can see the two people I tagged for potential volunteers, come back out to tags, and I can see the cruise 2017. And this is the tag that I actually kind of wanna share, more widely with the staff. So I'm gonna go ahead and hit edit. And here, I can determine the scope of the tag. So it can either be organizational or personal. So I'm gonna choose organizational and now anybody in the organization can use this cruise twenty seventeen tag and also see it. So I'm gonna go ahead and hit save and there you have it. Now, what you choose to do with tags is really up to you. It's it's a very, powerful, way of quickly creating almost these virtual groups. They're not groups because they're they're not actually gonna go see them in the group, viewer. But it's a quick way of just creating these groupings of people on the fly without having to go do a lot of other clicking and and configuration. So again, you might talk about this on your teams and see what the best way, to use tags in your organization is.
