In the Adding Pages and Blocks video, John walked you through how to add pages and blocks to your internal and external websites using the admin toolbar. There's a second way to add pages and blocks to your site, though, using Rock, and that's with the page builder. Let's take a look at how it works. The page builder is located in CMS configuration, under Pages. Here you can see all the pages of your sites, both internal and external. If I click on a page, you'll see that the page builder shows me all of the details, the zones, and the blocks included in that page. If I click the edit button, the page builder will also take me to the configuration screens which John walked you through in the other video. So you have access to those screens here as well. You can also add pages directly from the page builder screen. So let's do that now. I'm going to add a page to my external homepage. I'm going to click this drop down, add page drop down button, and you'll see I have an option to add a top level or add a child to selected page. I'm going to do the second option. I'm going to add a child to my external homepage. So this is my add page screen. I'm going to give this some just a name. We'll just call it sample for now. On the right here, you'll see it tells me which site this page is going to be built in, and it's the external website. And it gives me an option to choose a layout. I'm gonna go with full width and click save. And the page builder creates that page for me. So depending on the layout you choose, the page builder will automatically set up your zones and blocks. And you can add or edit the blocks that are there. If you'll see on the right side here, there's a drop down in your zones section which shows you all of the zones for the layout that you chose and the number of blocks included in each of those zones. So if I click on the header zone, you'll see I have one block. If I wanna add a new block, I would click the add button and this tells me I'm going to add a block to the header zone and I can give it a name and configure it here. I can also edit any blocks that are already there. For example, here's my header text. If I click the edit button, I can edit the HTML in that block. I can also change and configure the block properties for that block. And I also have access to the security for that block. So as you can see, you can do all of the same things and access all of the same screens in the page builder that you could using the admin toolbar. The benefit of using the page builder is it allows you to do so much from one screen while also letting you see the overall structure of your site. So it gives you a different perspective. Now regardless of whether you use the admin toolbar or the page builder to add pages and blocks, you're going to find that both are simple to use and you'll be building websites quickly in Rock.
