Did that you can use one report to serve every campus and ministry? Using the dynamic report block, you can change little parts of what you're looking for in a report and dynamically get back the information you need. Let's look at how to set up this block right now. Okay. So we have the dynamic report block added to a page right here, And you can see we have quite a few filters that help us pare down what we're looking at. And I'm just gonna run it. And now you can see based on the report that we've set up, we have a nice list of results here. So before you start here, you'll want to have a data view set up and a report as the report will determine what's being shown, the data views will determine what we can filter on. So I'll give you an example. If we're looking at data views, which you can find by going to tools, then data views, right now we've picked a data view that is actually filtering on another data view. So there's a list of different filters that are being used. In this case, people that are included in adult member and attendees data view and their gender is male. And we're also filtering on the record status containing active and connection status contains member or attendee and group member. Then we created a report off of it that is pretty simple and you saw a second ago, we just are showing the name, email, and age for these people. Now you may wonder how we get this list of filters here and how we can change it. If you go to the block settings, you can do a lot of configuration and that includes changing the results title, what icon is shown, then you can change the filters. So you can change filters in a couple different ways. You can even change the HTML that surrounds a label so you can customize and you can use Lava to output a label and you can pick whether that filter is visible. And if it's not visible, then you can't configure it. You can also pick if it's configurable, meaning you can change the filter, and then you can pick whether or not you want the filter itself to be able to be turned off and on. So let's save so you can see what I mean. In this case, you can pick whether or not you want to even be able to filter on record status. And if you do filter, which statuses you want to show. So right now we're using the report block. And again, this is super helpful because you, without this block, would have to possibly create a large list of reports or data views to change what you're looking at, but this is just dynamic. So let's say we want to show people with an active record status or pending. This is something that we would have had to change the data view itself to get this information without this block. But using this block, we really save ourselves some time. Then we can pick between a list of connection statuses, and let's filter. There we go. We get that list of people that we filtered on based on the data views that we have available to us. Your dynamic report is ready. Point it at a report you already trust and then hand it off to other people so they can filter it down to only what they need.
