The DISC assessment in Rock helps you determine what the dominant traits are in terms of someone's personality and their communication style. This is something that's important to know whether you're leading a team, you're a teammate, or you're discipling someone. You want to understand them better so that you can care for them better. Let's look at how to administer this assessment in Rock and then track the results. So to get started with the DISC assessment, all you need to do is go to a person's profile.
So I'm gonna click on Alicia, then click my profile. And you'll see these badges over here that are outlining the results of different assessments. Alicia has completed every one of these, so that's really nice and we know a lot about her personality. First, I'm gonna show you how we can assign an assessment. There are multiple ways to do that.
One of those being clicking actions on a person's profile, then click request assessment. This is going to pull up a workflow and you can click and select the assessments that you want to send to someone. You can attach a custom message, a due date, and more. Then you can click send to send it out. That's one really nice way.
And another way to do it is we outline this in our documentation, but we basically have these different different sets of Lava you can use, and they're simply using a link that will populate for this person. You can send this out in a communication or any way you want to, and it will allow a person to easily and quickly take an assessment. Now, if you wanna see the results of an assessment, all you need to do is this. If you hover over the badge bar and click on one of these assessments DiSC in this case, we can see the exact scores. So Alicia is obviously a strong S here.
She is pretty similar in her D, I, and her C score as well, but S is just way up there. And it's really great. You'll get an exact description of what this means. So look into this. Here we see for Alicia, it says, you enjoy a stable and consistent pace with everyone in harmony.
You may have difficulty with change because it usually involves some sense of the unknown. And you get to see things strengths, such as a low key sensitive team player, you excel at listening, understanding, and supporting close friends, the challenges, what you're under pressure, motivation, team contribution, leadership style, and follower style. So there's really something for everyone to pick up here so that they can care for Alicia Marble better or if they are Alicia Marble. In this case, what your strengths and weaknesses are and basically how you operate so that you can work better with your team. Now another thing is once that assessment is actually sent out, this is how you're going to take it.
I've gone to our external website here and I've just clicked on my account for Alicia. And from this page, we have a block that lists assessments and you can go view your results. This is a great way if the person that took this assessment is external to your organization for them to see their results. You can also retake an assessment if you believe things have changed or you wanna change your answers. All you have to do from here is click start assessment.
It's already been done in this case, but if we were to retake a test, it would look this, very simple. We can click start then go through and start selecting how we feel about these different things, what we identify with most, and we can start to understand our disc better. Great. Now you've seen this awesome free resource in Rock and it's on someone's person profile, maybe even yours if you went ahead and took this assessment. Look into the other assessments that Rock has so that you can care for people better.
