Rock U - Check-In - Person Attributes - Check-In Manager

Person attributes can be viewed from within the check-in manager. And so let's check out how that's done. But first, make sure that you've checked out our checking in, checking out, checking in document posted online, and that you've reviewed some of the other ROQ videos. Because, of course, check-in can get a little bit tricky to set up, and you'll want to make sure that you're familiar with it before we dive into person attributes in the check-in manager. So, without further ado, let's dive into the system and see how we set this up. Now, from inside the system, the first thing that you're going to want to check is under your admin tools and general settings, that you have your person attributes defined the way that you want them. And for our case, and especially since we're dealing with check-in, I'm going to look at the person attribute for allergy. Now you can see here that the allergy attribute is connected to two categories, check-in manager and childhood information. And we're gonna look at both of those and why that's important in just a sec. So for right now, I'm not gonna save anything with that, but I am going to head over to the Decker family. And I'm gonna take a look at Alex Decker. Now Alex has under extended attributes some childhood information filled in, and we see here an allergy allergic to peanuts. So that's childhood information. That's one of the categories that was assigned to the allergy attribute. So we see here that, Alex is allergic to peanuts, is good to know, but it would be even better to know if we could get it onto the check-in manager screen. And so let's see what that looks . As with any check-in, I'm gonna start here and enter in Ted's phone number, and it is for the Decker family. And we're gonna check-in Alex for the 04:30. And we're going to check Alex into the Bears Room. And I'm not connected to a printer, so I can't print out a label. But nonetheless, Alex Decker was checked in to the test group and bears at 04:30. And so now that Alex is checked in, and Noah was already checked in, but we're going to click on Alex and take a look. And we can see that right here, front and center, we have that Alex is allergic to peanuts, which is, of course, very important to know if you decide that you want to offer a snack during class and you need to see which type of allergy a child might have. Now, I want to point out the block settings for the Check-in Manager person profile page because this is where for children and for adults, you set the category for the attributes. And so this is showing us the Check-in Manager child attributes for children, and then we have a category, of course, for adults as well. Now when we were looking at the person attribute setup, you'll recall that this was one of the categories that was assigned to that attribute, and that's what causes it to appear here on the Check-in Manager page. And so, that's how you can get person attributes to appear on the Check-in Manager Person Profile page. Obviously, it's very useful, especially when you're dealing with children that have allergies or other attributes that you might be tracking. So we encourage you to try it out. We're sure that you'll it. Be sure to also check out our other Rock U videos on check-in in general as well as our checking out, checking in guide. Thanks very much.
