Rock U - Event & Calendar - Event Registration Attributes

Some details belong to the registration itself, not just the registrant. These might be things a staff note, a group name, or more. We'll look at how to make these registration attributes right now. To add one of these attributes, we'll simply go to tools, then we'll head down to event registration, click there, and we're gonna pick the template that we want, which is summer camp, and we'll click edit. Now to add these attributes, it's pretty simple.
It'll be under registration attributes, and we already have one here as an example. So I'm gonna click in and edit it. Now it's really nice. It's just a transportation needed attribute that is a Boolean, meaning it's just a checkbox. So really simple.
You can add anything you need here, anything you need to track for a registration. Then a cool tip is there's a category that you can add called starter registration or end of registration. And no need to add that if you don't want to, you'll add attributes towards the middle of the registration otherwise, but we've picked start of registration and we've also decided to show this in grid. So let's go ahead and save this attribute and we'll click save here. Then just note we have this summer camp instance, and I'm going to go to registration.
Now this is what the actual registration looks for one of the instances within that event registration template. We can add some people. And when we start, the first thing that pops up is that attribute. So it's easy to come here, set what we need, click next, head through the registration, and then we would be storing that attribute for this registration. But let's head back and I'll show you that we've already had some people sign up.
And because we picked show in grid, we first of all see just right here on the registration list what people filled out for this transportation needed question. And if we hadn't picked show in grid, you could click into the registration anyways and just see that attribute. You can even come in and edit this if someone changes their mind, for example. When you have a unique field you need that isn't per person, but you need on the entire registration, remember to turn to event registration attributes.
