Your events can meet people wherever they check their calendar. Whether they're using Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple, or more, you can have a live URL that allows them to save events to their phone easily. So for the iCalendar feed, this is what it's gonna look . From your Rock feed, you'll be able to dynamically feed calendar events to your phone or desktop, to your calendar, whether you're using Apple calendar, Outlook, Google, whatever it may be, each one has its own method for you to put in your iCalendar link, then you can start populating events. Now these are some things you'll wanna be aware of. The iCalendar URL will look this. You'll wanna make sure you get your domain in there, then get eventcalendarfeed.ashx. Then you can put in a parameter of calendar ID, then you'll put your calendar ID in. And there's more that you can do. You can even filter it further with things audience ID, a start date or an end date. Make sure to read our documentation for more on all the different parameters you can use to tailor what events go into your iCalendar feed. Then the actual stuff that's gonna go inside of the description for your calendar events are based off of these lava fields here, event item dot description and event item occurrence dot note. If you want to change what goes into the description, it's simply you can find the defined type for iCalendar. Now we're actually on internal Rock right now. We're looking at our public calendar. And if you want an easier way to get that link that I showed you a moment ago that automatically populates with what would be your ID that you need is you can click this export calendar feed option and it will copy that link straight to your clipboard. The iCalendar feed keeps events in front of people wherever they check their calendar. Set it up once and it updates on its own.
