Rock U - Event & Calendar - Partial Payments
Transcribed Video Content
Sometimes a deposit should hold the spot instead of a full payment upfront. I'll show you how you can set a minimum payment that people can pay and then they can have their registration saved for them. So let's see who still needs to pay for our recent registration. We'll go to tools, down to event registration, and we'll click on our recent instance here, summer camp twenty twenty seven. You'll notice on the registration list here, some of these people still have a balance due.
And to reach out to them and let them know they still have a balance due, we can click send payment reminders here. Then we're immediately brought to see this template of an email to be sent, and it's really simple. It just tells you the registration, the remaining balance, and what or who your registrants are. Then it gives you a link to go make that payment, making it super easy for you. And we can see down here that there are some outstanding balances, those two people we saw earlier.
And on the template, we've selected that we want our timing of how often the payment is sent to be 14 days. That's why you see that fourteen days here. And here we can see Ted, he got reminded three days ago. So he's grayed out, though you can still select him if you wanna send it. And we can see Alicia hasn't gotten a reminder in one hundred twenty three days, really long time.
So it's easy for us to come here, select her, and click send to send a reminder if we'd . Now if you want this message to look a little different, all you have to do is click source. You can edit the lava and the HTML, make it look your organization or give any additional information that you'd . Partial payments let someone hold the spot while a full payment comes later. You can pair these with reminders to make it easier and hold people accountable to make that full payment.
