Prayer requests are super important, and it's easy for that request to live on something a post it note and fade by Friday. Prayer requests in Rock allow you to track every prayer that's asked for and even assign teams to pray for them and make sure that people are held accountable to be prayer warriors. To add a prayer request externally, I've gone to the connect section of our external site, then I've clicked on prayer. And it's really simple here. It's asking for first name, last name, email, campus, and then the request. And we'll add one here, then we'll go ahead and submit this. There you go. We can see thank you for allowing us to pray for you, and you can add another request. Now if we go to the block settings here, we can change a little bit. First of all, we can pick the category that this prayer request falls under. And here, it's just all church by default, but we can get more specific if we wanna say all of these prayer requests fall under family issues, for example. And you can have multiple blocks if you wanna have a block that is used for family issues prayer, a block that's used for general prayer, etcetera. Then we can pick whether we want auto approve on. Here, we'll say yes, but I'll show you what it looks if you don't have auto approve on later. Then you can pick when this expires, whether comments are allowed on these on these prayer requests. You can pick whether the urgent flag is allowed or the comments flag, and that allows the person who's submitting the request to say whether, first of all, this request is urgent or whether comments are allowed on it. Same with public display, and you can pick whether this defaults to public. And there's many, many more things we can do here to even match people to prayer requests and more, then we can pick what happens on save. So you can navigate to the parent page if you'd or refresh the page or we have this save success text, which you saw once we submitted this prayer request. We can even run a workflow straight off of the prayer request. But we'll click save here, and we're happy with how this is set up. So let's go internal. If you wanna add a prayer request internally, you would go to people over to prayer, click there, then click add prayer request. And we'll say this is requested by Ted Decker, and we'll select. Then we can pick an expiration date, campus. Here, since it's internal, we can actually start configuring a lot of these options if we want, such as public, urgent, allow comments. And we'll say that this is pending approval so that I can show you what the approval process looks . Then we'll go into their quest and say, pray for my brother, and we'll go ahead and save. Now there's a few more things here. We can, first of all, just straight up see prayer requests, prayer comments. And if you wanna add attributes to prayer requests, you can do that. Then we can we'll first just do this prayer requests. So we can see many different prayer requests that have come up. You can very easily come here and approve it. Once it's approved, this is something that can show up in a prayer session, for example. So I'll approve it. And let's click into one of these. We can start writing comments on this immediately. We can also see that this was marked as urgent, and we can see the category this prayer request is in as well. So you can actually filter here if you wanna see things that either have comments allowed or not, if they're active, and more. Then, let's find an interesting one here. So if we click into Frank Dexter, we have documentation on this, but we did AI prayer. We used AI to look at this prayer request and see whether it was appropriate and also change the actual text that shows up here because we did spelling checks. So here's the original request, and then AI went in and we used our AI provider that we have set up and it updated the request here. And it also picked an appropriate category, but we have documentation on how to set that up if you're interested. Now we have all this here. I'll show you one quick example of something else. If we wanna add a comment to this request and say, I've prayed, for example, and save it, and you can actually do approval for comments as well. But we'll go back to to prayer here and click prayer comments. Then we can see that this comment from Alicia Marple just popped up, and it's shown here. We can pick whether we wanna edit or delete that comment as well. But let's head back to the external page and I'm going to go to prayer sessions. So if we go click on prayer team up here, we can get ready to pray. So we can select the category we wanna pray for and the campus, click start, then we can go through the requests that haven't expired yet that meet those parameters. And we can just see Alicia Marbles here. It's specifically vague here because we used AI for this, and it tells us this request may have been modified by an AI. And something we set is to make sure there isn't personal information shown. So Alicia specifically referenced her mother. This made it more vague. But we can simply go through these. And, once you're done, it'll say thanks for praying. And you can start again if you'd . You can pray for the same people again and again. And what that means is if we go back to the internal view, you can see if we just go to the prayer requests and we refresh Alicia Marble here, it shows how many prayers we've prayed. There have been two prayers for Alicia Marble's prayer request. Prayer requests keep care from falling through the cracks. Set up your approval flow and your categories, and your team can focus on prayer every week.
