Let's talk about the Rock internal homepage. This is a great area for you to see and add staff updates, have quick links for common websites, monitor your internal and external website, see some important metrics right there, and out of the box, you have a great administrator checklist for you to go through to make sure everything is squared away inside a Rock. Right now, let's jump inside a Rock and take a look at some of the great staff update features we have for you to easily manage content and updates for your staff. Here on the Rock homepage, we see we have Staff Update. We have some highlighted articles with extra links for staff to get more information and all kinds of cool things that you can do here. Let's jump into the Content channel on adding a new staff update right to your internal homepage. We'll navigate to Tools, Content, it will be in the Internal Communications homepage, and we'll add a new one. Here are all the content detail settings. We'll add a title, let's say this is April, adding a featured image, and we'll choose what day we want this update to be active. Click on this calendar and you can say, Hey, want this to be active on May 1 for the next month newsletter. Or, Hey, let's just keep it active for today. Now let's add a Feature Title. We can add some text. In here we have some articles that we can add. Click here. Let's upload an article image. Add some article content, and you can even add an article link to another website for them to get more information. You are done, click Save. Let's add another article. We'll choose our image. We'll add an article title, a little description here. Can add your article link and save. Then we'll go back to the home page to take a look at it. And there it is, your staff update. See our new photo, the April news, and our new articles. Now let's point out that you might update this in the day of, it might not automatically come up. And you might say, oh, my update isn't showing. How come it didn't work? Well, in that case, your caching duration may be set to a different time. Let's take a look at the block properties for the internal communications view and how that's set up. You'll scroll down here and you see this cached duration. By default, this is set to three thousand six hundred seconds. That means when your page is reloaded, it's not going to update for about an hour. To change that, you can just change it to zero ours was set, Hit save. And then when you reload the page, it will show your new updates.
