Building the same registration setup for every event is wasted work. We'll talk about the two different parts, registration templates and instances that we use to make your life easier. So to visualize that registration structure, you can see there's a template and then there's many instances with different dates. And that's because often you'll end up making a registration that will have multiple different occurrences on different dates, different times. And you don't wanna have to remember exactly what all those settings were that you used last time, adding new discount codes, fees, things that. And it saves you time and makes your events consistent for the people that are actually attending. So things will be standardized. You don't have to worry about forgetting something, and you'll also save yourself some time by setting some important settings once on the template, setting some more specific settings on the instance, and not having to worry about all the in betweens. With the template and instance relationship clear, the rest of registration falls into place. Next we'll start building these things for real.
