Recurring gifts are the backbone to steady giving until a card quietly expires. So we'll talk about how scheduled transactions are created and how to edit them and make sure that everything is up to date so that that giving can continue to come in smoothly. Scheduled transactions are found under finance, then under the function section right here. Once you click, you can see a list of current scheduled transactions and those are from people and businesses. Then you can even quickly filter to get the exact sort of scheduled transactions that you wanna see. Now let's click into one for Ted Decker, for example. Let's look at what info we get here. We can first of all see which account that Ted is giving to and what amount he is giving as well. You can click to change the account allocation if you wanna pick a different account or a different amount. If Ted has asked you to change it for example, you can get lots of helpful info about when the last status refresh was. Then if you wanna get the latest status refresh from the payment gateway, you can just click refresh now. Then we can also see things the payment gateway that was used, the method, then scrolling down here, we can even filter on the exact history to see different process transactions, accounts and much more so you can have a really detailed record. You can also cancel or you can cancel the schedule. Of course, most of these actions we're talking about here are things that you'd wanna get approval for from the actual person who created this transaction. Then you can even click edit to completely change what the contribution looks in terms of frequency, when the next gift is, adding comments, and picking different payment information. We're gonna exit there and let's move on to how you add these transactions. So we're on the external site right now. If you were to click give and go to the give now block that we have and someone's making a contribution here and they click a frequency that's other than one time, then anything they save here is gonna end up being labeled a scheduled transaction. Now moving on again, we're on Ted Decker's profile right here. And if you were to go click on the contributions tab on any person's profile, this is how you can see an individual scheduled transaction. If you go along the sidebar here, there's a scheduled transactions section. You can easily add new transactions and edit current ones for this specific individual, making it easy to see how people are doing reoccurring giving. Great. Now you've got scheduled transactions down. Remember to check-in on them regularly so that a card that's expired never becomes a lapsed gift.
