It should take seconds, not a bunch of phone calls to fill a serve day or a meal train. Sign ups let you pick a location, the time, and make it easy for people to say, I wanna join. Let's look at how to set up a sign up right now. Okay. So let's visualize what sign ups are. Sign ups have a project and that project can have more projects or it can have opportunities. Those opportunities are the real things that people will attend and potentially serve at. And for a project, there's two different types of project you can have. You can have an in person project that has a specific time and location, date, but project due is a little bit different. This is for a food drive, for example, where instead there's a due date and there's something you'll be doing potentially until that due date rather than one specific meeting time. Now we're on the external site and this is what it looks to find a sign up. We go to connect and then we've picked sign ups finder. There's lots of filters here and we can actually pick more ways to filter from the block settings. I'll show you that in just a moment, but we can get specific about location, number of miles away, spots available, and then search, and we can see results. And there's quite a few different opportunities here , feed my starving children, a women build, feed my starving children. Again, there's a couple different locations for these ones here. We can see the distance if the location is set up, then you can actually go straight in and see details if you want. And if it is to your liking, you can simply click register. And it looks pretty simple here. First name, last name. You can add additional individuals if you'd . You can pick whether SMS messages can be sent to you as well, then register. And now Alicia Marble will be signed up for this sign up, basically. Since Alicia's been signed up, I wanna show you the block settings on this page first, which this is the sign up register block. If we come here, we can pick the mode that we wanna do sign up in, and you can pick family mode, anonymous, which will be default or a group. You can actually sign up your entire group for a sign up to serve together, or you can sign up your family. You can pick whether children are included in this sign up. You can run a workflow based off of this, pick what a reminder or a communication looks , whether someone's mobile phone is needed to get this done, the connection status of the people that fill this out, record status, and more if you're actually adding individuals from here as well. Now let's go back to the signups finder. Some block settings you can set up here include things whether you hide projects that are over the capacity, what the project filters look , the filter columns, whether results should be shown when the page is loaded. And if you're using project types, then you can filter those project types. You can pick the labels for them. You can even have attribute filters for attributes on these signups. So it's super easy to let people filter. You can pick different campus filters that are available, even schedule filters, location, and you can display date range, slots, and more. So you can take away or add filters easily. Then you can use Lava to pick how these results show up. So you can style this for something that makes sense for your organization and you can also pick the linked pages such as when you click for details or registration where you go to. But we how this is set up. Now let's go to home and Rock. And to set up a signup, go to people, down to signups. And when you go to add, you can add a top level, which is sort of a group type because these are groups. But something I wanna note first is there's a list here of the different signups that are available when that's happening, the number of leaders and participants, then you can go see the attendee list actually. But, yeah, so we can pick a overall signup project And then the actual sign up opportunities are here. Here's some examples for Habitat for Humanity. But Feed My Starving Children, we've got a couple opportunities that you already saw. You can even go see past ones easily. You can add them by clicking here. You just pick a schedule, opportunity name, what the minimum desired and maximum attendance are. I'll show you what that looks in a moment. You can pick a location and it's pretty simple. You can either pick a names location or you can just straight up type in an address. You can pick a custom schedule or you can pick a named schedule that you've already created, then add some details here. And it's also easy to go edit the list of people or how I said there's a minimum desired and maximum. You can see it reflected here on the signups. We're past our minimum and our desired number of people we want for this signup, but we're not at the maximum just yet. This one's at the maximum. If we click here, we can view all the attendees that are gonna show up for this event. And we've got a pretty simple list here, really nice, it just functions a group. You can add new people, filter and more. But let's head back here and we'll quickly look at what it looks down here if you add sub projects because you can add a sign up group within a sign up group, then you can add opportunities there if you want a bit more hierarchy. Sign ups take the chasing out of recruiting, post the need, and people will come sign up on their own time.
