Workflows turn a scattered manual task into one that your team can trust and easily track. To get started, watch on and you'll learn how to make your first workflow. So let's step through a workflow. Here's sort of an overview of a workflow that we could run. And this is a position entry workflow. What's happening is Ted requests a new position for the team and Rock emails Alicia Marble asking her for some details. It gets routed to Pete Foster who's been selected for approval. Then once it goes to Pete Foster and it's his turn, it tells everyone the outcome whether he says yes or no for the position. So let's look deeper into this workflow. We can see Ted's position entry here and he can enter the number of hours and whether it's a a part time or full time role plus a description. And this is all stuff that you can customize. This is just one example of a workflow, but let's continue to follow it. Alicia Marble is given a link to the event planner position. When she goes to this link, she gets this position request entry screen that allows her to pick the salary range and who the approver is. Then she submits it and the email goes to Pete Foster also linking him to an actual option here where he can pick to approve or deny the workflow using a link, or he can just go straight to the request. And he can pick the number of hours here If he's interested, then based on his approval or denial, it'll either go to Ted Decker, Alicia Marble. It depends on how you have your workflow set up and it will let them know how this approval went. This is an example of the benefits of workflows. So you can track every part of a process. You can easily track a submission, getting something assigned to a staff member, what decision happens, and the whole trail stays in Rock. And just to get your brain thinking about different ways you can use workflows, just start with a process you already run by hand or through a system that's hard to track.
