Data integrity. Rock holds a lot of data. With much data comes much responsibility. Let's take a look inside of Rock at some of the data automation tools to help keep your data accurate and organized. In Rock, we're going to navigate to Tools, Data Integrity. Click on the Data Automation. Here, we see a list of all the data automation settings. General settings. We have Gender Autofill Confidence. Out of the box, Rock comes with a 99.9% confidence rating for it to scan the system based off of the first name of any individual who does not have a gender assigned to them. Let's take Matthew for example. He's in our system and he does not have a gender applied to him. With the name Matthew, that falls in the category of a 99.9% of being male. So Rock is going to assign Matthew as male. You can set this confidence percentage to anything that might work for your organization. Scrolling down, we have our Data Automation. Here you can enable or disable any automation tools. First, we have our Reactivate and Inactivate people. Based on the criteria that you set, Rock will reactivate or inactivate people. Be sure to make sure that your inactivate people settings are exactly what you want. This can cause a lot of people to be inactivated. And when somebody is inactivated in Rock, they'll also be inactivated in any groups that they're a part of which cannot be undone. We have Update Family Campus. This is a great feature for when you open up a campus. Based off of an individual's giving and attendance views, Brock will see that and move them into this new campus. Move Adult Children. Here's another great feature to where when children reach a certain age, they'll be moved into their own family. This is great because when they're in their own family, they'll have their own giving statement. You can also enable that the child has to be graduated before they're moved in as an adult to their own family. We also have Update Connection Status and Update Family Status.
