Check-in is really special and check-in is central to how your ministry runs. In fact, a lot of people interact with it physically every single week. Rock has tons of different features and configuration to get check-in running perfectly for your ministry so that can feel more it's running in the background rather than a hassle or something that takes a lot of effort. So let's go through what check-in looks in Rock, how to set it up and piece everything together right now. So these are the components of check-in.
Who, what, where and when. We reduce it to a really simple set of questions and being able to answer all of them will get you through check-in, check-in configuration, all of that. So person, this is the people within a family that you're actually checking in. What areas and groups. This is essentially say you're checking in a young kid then preschool, first grade, second grade, high school.
These are examples of areas and groups, then where location. So areas and groups can have a location tied to them. There might be multiple locations for a group or maybe just one even, then when. So you pick the service time that you're actually checking someone in for and you'll configure all of these upfront. You'll connect areas and groups, locations and schedules and make it easier for you to check people in.
