Rock U - Prayer - AI Automation - Prayer

Some churches get hundreds or even thousands of prayer requests a week, and they may have staff or volunteers praying for those requests. Now there's something special you can do. It's important that prayer is personal and that it's coming from a person, but there are some things with prayer requests that you just can't do manually for a large group. For example, some prayer requests may come in that have inappropriate personal information or they're misspelled or other things that. If you have an AI provider set up in Rock, you can use that and you can pick a prompt to make sure that these prayer requests are polished up so that by the time they get to your volunteers or your staff, they're ready for prayer. So let's look at how to set this up in Rock right now. Before you get started with AI automation for prayer requests, you need to make sure that you've got an AI provider set up. I'll show you what it looks if you've got one set up. You'd go to admin tools up to settings and then type in something where so you can find AI providers, and you'd have one here with active set to yes. Now we have documentation on how to get this set up. I suggest you go read that if you don't have an AI provider, but it's pretty simple from here. So we're gonna start by heading to prayer categories. We'll go to admin tools, then settings, and start typing in prayer and click on prayer categories. Now the reason we're here is because we pick what is monitored with AI by category during this setup. And I'm gonna just give a broad example here. If we just decided we wanted all of our all church prayer requests to have AI moderation, then we would click on that category, we'd edit it, and we've got a lot of settings here. Then we go to the AI automations section. You pick the AI provider that you have set up, And now here's quite a few settings to change the way, that essentially the AI will react to a prayer request. First of all, you can have it enhance things formatting and spelling. You can even have it restructure a sentence if you'd . If names violate, what you consider, private for a prayer request, you can have names removed either just last names, first and last names, or you can leave in names, of course. You can also classify the sentiment, and that's something that will be marked on the prayer request. You can also auto categorize, so it will essentially pick the category that this likely fits into. And that's really nice if you have your prayer team praying for people in a specific category and you don't wanna have to categorize yourself. Then enable AI moderation. So this is something a bit heavier that AI can do. And essentially, there's a list of things that would be considered maybe inappropriate or concerning in a prayer request, and maybe it's a mention of something violence or self harm, and those are all categorized with different numbers. And essentially the AI will, if you have AI moderation on, it will be able to classify if a request has to do with something that, then you can even run a workflow based off of that that code that's linked with the moderation. So say someone entered a request that had to do a self harm, you could have a workflow run that notifies a pastor or does something to make sure that action can be taken quickly. Also, there's a setting to check for public appropriateness, and it's pretty simple. It just makes sure that the prayer request, which would likely be going to something a prayer team, is appropriate for a public prayer team. On top of that, you can pick whether the child categories, so all the categories under this one inherit the configuration that we have set up here, but we're not gonna do that for now. We'll just save and I'm gonna show you what it looks with an actual prayer request. So I'm gonna go back to home just so I can show you the navigation. We will head to people over to prayer, and we'll click on prayer requests. Now this is a prayer request that got approved and it got modified as well by AI. This this genuinely wasn't touched by any human. So if we click here, we can see there's a subtext that says this request may have been modified by an AI for formatting and privacy. Please be aware that errors may be present. And we can see that request. Please pray for an individual who is sick and has no money to buy medicine. It's so hard for us. It says here that it's approved. It's been categorized under the sadness sentiment, and we see the health issues category. And when we edit it, we can actually see the original request here, which the grammar is different. There is a reference to a person's actual name. The sentence isn't polished up, but AI went through and did all of that for us. That's really nice because you get more time to focus on ministry and people get to focus on prayer instead of moderation. Now let's look at some settings that we can change to, basically let people know whether a request has been modified with AI. So first of all, from the external website, I've gone to the connect section and clicked on prayer. Okay. So looking at the settings, you can see there's one here that says enable auto approve. And that means that prayer requests can be automatically approved before they're seen by the prayer team. Okay. So now we're looking at a block that is for the prayer team, and this block is taking requests that have been approved and need prayer and allowing the prayer team to pray for them. So this is usually for an external audience. But what we can do is if we go to block configuration, then we go to the block settings. There's some different block settings here, but there's an AI automation section. And essentially what this will do is if you want to tell the people on the prayer team that a request may have been modified by AI, You can easily do that by adding an AI disclaimer, and you can say what that AI disclaimer is. Then we'll click save. And just so you can see that prayer, we're gonna start a session, and you can see that exact prayer request that we had show up earlier. And it says that this request may have been modified by an AI. Great. Now you have prayer requests automation running for you, and I hope this is taking a weight off of your shoulders knowing that not only are you saving some time, but you're also making sure that all the prayer requests that are being prayed for are appropriate and aren't sharing any inappropriate personal information. Thank you for watching this video and have a great day.
