Rock U - Connections - Operational Snapshot

Transcribed Video Content

The operational snapshot in Rock turns the raw data from connections into a visual health report, and that report is made for the leaders and administrators in your organization to help make sure that no one is falling through the cracks when it comes to connections. Let's look at this view right now. Okay, let's take a look at the operational snapshot for connections. So the way we're gonna get there is hovering over people, then just going down a little bit and clicking on connections. And from this navigation screen, depending on the type you wanna look at, all you have to do is click on this icon. But just to make sure beforehand, I'll let this is the way you enable operational snapshot. So if you go to a connection type and you edit, there's an enabled view or enabled views list of checkboxes, and you must have operational snapshot checked or enabled. But let's go back to connection types, back to connections. So let's look at the operational snapshot for involvement. We'll click right here. And here the screen loads into view. There's a bunch of really helpful information here to let you understand how healthy your connections have been recently. So we get a view of all the different connectors that have been connectors for this type. We also get some nice KPIs, some current metrics, a request health overview, which just kind of gives you a view on these bars of what is on track, how many requests are due soon, how many are overdue. Then you can see the number of upcoming future follow ups in the next three days. Also the count by status. So we have a few different statuses, but right now we're showing that we have two that are pending interview, three that are in progress. Then at the bottom here, we can get some stats based on a date range. You can pick between last twenty eight days or the last seven. And we get to see things recently, how has timeliness been? Then responsiveness, which this is really bad right now. You don't want four hundred thirteen days. Then requests that have been completed and the average time that it takes to complete, how that's changed over the last seven days. So here, it's gone down nine days, which is really good. That's a good sign. We'll scroll back up here. And, again, this is where you get information on specific connectors. And there might be a bunch of people in this list, so we have easy ways to sort and filter. Then you can also take action and this group of people, you can export to Excel, to a CSV, or even use a merge template and search pretty quickly. Now there's something really important to see here or to note. This little red bar on the side is called a care lapse bar, and that's something that a connector really doesn't want to have because it indicates that they've dropped the ball in some way. That means they've let one of their requests go overdue. And that means that someone who's raised their hand and asked to be connected some way within your organization has been let down by a lack of responsiveness. And this is just a good indicator for people on the inside to see who's dropping the ball, who might need some help with their requests. But this isn't meant to be discouraging. It's meant to give an honest an honest overview of who has not been on the ball with their connections. And once you get this care lapse bar, the unfortunate thing is you have it forever. So this is something you wanna stray away from. In fact, even if someone transfers a request to you that is overdue, you'll get this bar as well. So you probably wanna say, Hey, I don't want that request. I've been keeping up on my connections. I wanna keep this healthy status. And we can see here Pamela Foster doesn't have the care lapse bar. That's really good. None of her connections have become overdue. You can also easily see how many connections have been completed in the last twenty eight days and the average time, how that's changed over the last twenty eight days. Now if you wanna see specific requests for these connectors, this is a really nice thing. You can easily click and it will take you to a filtered view of the connections list where you can see the specific requests for that connector and what's going on with them. Now let's go back to the operational snapshot. There's one last thing I wanna mention here, which is that it's very important that the context you have here is what you're looking for. So you can pick which opportunities you're looking at and that changes the data that you're getting. You can also if you click x, you're looking at all opportunities. And if you wanna be more specific, you can pick the campuses to view connections health for. I hope you've gotten a chance to look at your own operational snapshot now and make sure that no one is having a lapse in care and anyone that has requested a connection is receiving connection. Thanks for watching this video.
