Once someone has checked in in Rock, that doesn't necessarily mean the process is over for your volunteers and staff. You might wanna be able to see who's checked in, who's present, who's checked out and more. The check-in manager is the perfect way to do that in Rock in real time. Let's get into what it looks right now. If you've never been to the check-in manager in Rock, this is how you do it. So it's really simple. You'll just take your church domain and then at the end slash check-in manager. And this is gonna be your internal Rock site slash check-in manager, no spaces and dashes. When you do that, this is what it's gonna look . Now it's not gonna look exactly this. The check-in manager really depends on who's checked in and also what your context is. So right now we're looking at the main campus. We've selected also the Bears Room as our area or our room here, then we're looking at all schedules. And that's the context for this group of people we're getting in our room roster right here. Now the room roster is one of the most important blocks, and you'll see everything here in real time. So as people are checking in, checking out, or being marked as present, you'll see it happen live here. You can easily search through the people in this list or filter based on these columns. And there's a bunch of helpful information we get right off the bat here. First of all, we can see who's checked in, who their parents are, and also some special notes occasionally such as we can see Noah is allergic to peanuts. We can see Maddie Lowe, her uncle is not allowed to have contact. Now to add special icons these, I'll show you how to do that later. But one of the most important things about the check-in manager is seeing what state people are in. So we can see that right over here. There's a couple different tabs on this roster and that filters by state. So now we're looking at Noah Decker who is checked in and you can quickly take action such as deleting a record or you could even mark Noah present. Then let's go to the present screen. From here, you have some more actions you can take such as if someone checks out, leaves the room, you can mark that. Just click checkout. It'll mark them as checked out. But you can also do something called staying, and this is just indicating that the person here is staying for the next service. You can also mark not present, and that would just send them back to the checked in status. Then let's look at checked out. From checked out, that means the person is gone as far as we know, but if that's really not true, if they're still here, you can mark them again as present. Now let's look at some other screens for the check-in manager. A good example is live metrics. So this gives you a view of when people checked in, when they're checking out, and what your capacity looks . And this is really nice for helping you and your volunteers understand what the peak hours are when you have the most load. You can also quickly see how many people are checked in, present, and the total. And just note, this is still specifically for the Bears room, but you can close and open a room with ease. You can even edit the threshold or the maximum number of people for this room here. Now moving on, the room list is exactly what it sounds . You can see all the rooms for this area we're looking at and some stats on, people that are checked in, present, or checked out. You can also filter based on schedules here. Then en route. So this is for people that are checked in, but they're not yet present or checked out. That means our guess is that they're en route between rooms. Maybe they're walking from the kiosk to the actual room they're gonna end up being in. And these people, you can easily find and filter on, then make sure you move them properly to whatever location or group they should be a part of. Also settings, and this simply lets you access different check-in configurations for the check-in manager. We're gonna go back to the roster view. Now this is something important here. You can click on any of these profiles. You'll get some really helpful details. Some actions you can take from here is seeing the history of attendance for this person or even reprinting their label if you need to. You can see a history of their check ins, their age, and a lot more. Then you can also pick people from their family. You can see who else is in their family and what campus they're a part of. But let's look at Ted, Noah's dad. This is something that you'll probably use pretty often, and this allows you to get in contact with a parent. And a nice thing is that we have SMS snippets enabled here, meaning we have some things already set up where a volunteer or anyone who needs to do this can quickly go in and notify a parent about a snippet that you've already set up. You can even add an image for context if that's helpful, then you can send it to that parent. Now to set those snippets up, you'll go to the block settings, and we'll scroll down a little bit. Earlier, I mentioned you saw those allergy notes and other notes on some of the people on the roster. The way you pick those attributes is right here. You pick the child attribute category. Then to pick the snippets that you wanna pull from to message a parent, you'll just pick that category right here. Now I'm gonna show you some things we'll need to do on check-in configuration to have the following things. Those things are you can pick whether being present is a thing and more. I'll show you how to set that up on the check-in configuration. So we're going back to the homepage in Rock. You're gonna navigate to admin tools, then settings, and we're gonna look for check-in configuration. We're looking at the weekly service check-in. Now once this loads, we're just gonna click edit. And these things change the way the manager functions. So if you want checkout to be an option in the manager, you'll enable that from here and you can pick whether or not that's relevant to your organization or helpful. Same thing for presence. If you just want everyone who's checked in to be considered present, that's probably helpful when kiosks are at the actual room for check-in because that would mean as soon as someone checks in, they're probably already at the room. You can enable or disable presence from here as well. Well, I hope you're excited now to start using the check-in manager in your future weekend services. Thanks for watching this video.
