Discounts make a huge difference when registering for events. Let's take a look inside of Rock on how some of these discounts can be set up for your event registrations. Let's take summer camp for an example. We want to add a discount for early birds. We're going go directly inside of the Summer Camp template to add this discount. In the template, we'll scroll down to the Discounts tab. We can see here there's already a staff discount available. To add a new discount, we'll click on the plus button. Here's all the properties needed for the discount. First, you must have a discount code. So for our early bird discount, we're going to name this early. You can either have a percentage or an amount as your discount. We'll keep this as a percentage and give them 25% off. This is going to be automatically applied. Now with the Auto Apply, we want to make sure there's an effective date. Let's add here that it was effective on Monday and we only want it to last until next Friday. There's other options here for other types of discounts. You can add a maximum usage, the maximum registrants and the minimum registrants. This maximum usage would be if you only want this code to be used a certain amount of time. The maximum and minimum registrants would be for if one person is registering multiple people at the same time. Once we have all of our settings set, we'll hit Save. Now, it's added in the list. Once we're done, we'll hit Save again on this template. Now, let's take a look on our external website to see how this is applied when somebody is registering. Here on our Summer Camp twenty nineteen page, we're going to register one camper. Hit Next And we need the registrant's information. This is gonna be Alex. While on her birthday, Once all the information is set, we'll hit Next. Now we need the information on who registered them. I think Ted Decker registered her. Here we can see that the discount code early was automatically applied to this. Now we need to add the payment method. This is just a fake payment card. Fake expiration date. Once we're finished, we'll hit finish. Great. Congratulations, Ted. We're all registered. Now, let's go right back inside of the internal page and look at this camp instance to see all the discounts that have been applied for summer camp twenty nineteen. We'll scroll right down here and we see our Summer Camp twenty nineteen instance. Click on the Discounts tab and we see all the discount codes that have been applied for our Camp twenty nineteen. This is a general total result. It shows you all the totals of the discounts that have been applied for registration. Now if you want to see individual discounts, you'll just see it right here or you can click on their individual registrations on the Registrations tab. Here again we see the discount code early and discount percentage applied.
