Question - What Filter Type corresponds to the "Combine Giving With" criteria?

I'm trying to create a Data View that will show me everyone who doesn't have "Combine Giving With" selected (under Advanced Settings on the Person Profile).

But I can't find a filter among the myriads available in the Data View that will filter based on that information.

I would appreciate anyone who could tell me what "Applies To" and "Filter Type" selections will lead to a filter that will apply to this criteria.

  • There isn't an exact filter for that, but what you can do is filter for people where their Giving Id starts with 'P'.
    Under the hood, people with combined giving have a Giving Id like 'G123', which basically means "Combine giving with Group 123"
    If it's starts with P, like "P456", that means "combine giving with person 456 (themself)"

    If you make that data view, I would also make sure to add a filter to only get adults (kids don't have combined giving by default), and probably people with some amount of giving.  Without those, you will probably get a result of every kid in the database, and a bunch of adults.
