Core Docs - Core Concepts - Using an Agent

No setup needed on your end. If someone at your organization has configured a Rock agent, you can start using it right away.
Opening the chat panel
Look for the chat icon on the right side of the screen when you're on a person's profile page. Select it to open the panel.
What to ask
Just describe what you want in plain language. You don't need to know where anything lives in Rock.
You don't need a full name to search. "t dec" finds Ted Decker the same way Rock's universal search does.
Tips
Be specific. "Show me Ted Decker's contact info" works better than "Look up Ted."
Follow up in the same conversation. If the answer isn't right, just say so. "That's not what I meant, I was looking for his group attendance" works exactly the way it sounds.
The agent can only see what you can see. It works within your Rock permissions. If you don't have access to a record in Rock, the agent can't show it to you.
If something looks off, try rephrasing. If the agent consistently gets something wrong, let your admin know.
