If someone at your organization has configured a Rock agent, you can start using it right away.

Opening the chat panel

Look for the ti ti-sparkles Agent icon in Rock's header, accessible from anywhere. Select it to open the chat panel.

Context Anchors

When you open the chat panel from a Person profile, the Rock Agent already sees who you're looking at. You don't have to tell it. Ask "When did they last attend?" and it understands exactly which person you're referring to.

That knowledge comes from a Context Anchor, a small label above the text box in the chat panel. On Ted Decker's profile for example, it reads Person: Ted Decker.

Context anchors work for groups too, not just people. Open the chat from a group and the anchor points to that group, so the agent knows what you're asking about. This happens automatically on any page that has Context Parameters set in its Page Properties.

The anchor saves you from spelling out who or what you mean every time. You can speak naturally, the way you would to a coworker standing beside you, and the Rock Agent fills in the rest from whatever it's anchored to.

What to ask

Just describe what you want in plain language. You don't need to know where anything lives in Rock.

You don't need a full name to search. "t dec" finds Ted Decker the same way Rock's universal search does.

Tips

Be specific. "Show me Ted Decker's contact info" works better than "Look up Ted."
