There are lots of ways you can get to the Check-in Manager Person Profile page. Whether you arrived here from a Search, from the Room Manager or from Live Metrics, there’s a lot to see and do on this page.
Person Information - You can see the person’s photo and campus to the left, as well as their gender, age and grade along the top of the page.
Attendance History - Clicking the history icon (ti ti-history) at the top right of the page will take you to a page listing every change that has been made to the person’s check-in attendance data, not just the one attendance you are looking at. For instance, you could use this page to track that the person switched rooms or had their attendance deleted.
Reprint Labels - Clicking the printer icon (ti ti-printer) at the top right reprints labels for the person. You won’t see it if label reprinting is disabled. When you click it, you’ll be asked to select which label(s) to print, and which printer should be used. See the Reprinting article for full details. Note that there is a "Reprint Labels" security option on the "Person Recent Attendances" block that allows for finer control over which roles can see the re-print label button.
Badge Bar - By accessing the block settings for this page, you can select badges to display on either the left or right side of the bar. In this example we’re showing attendance, baptism, and more that you can’t see because they don’t apply to Noah. This bar can tell you a lot about a person, quickly and easily.
Check-in History - The center of the page shows the person’s check-in history, including the Current check-in and past check-ins from other services. The Search Family column shows which family record was used to find the person at the kiosk. In this example, you can click on the Puppies Room link in the Current row to access the Room Roster. Clicking the row itself reveals attendance details and allows for updates or deletion. When you edit the attendance record, you can update the person’s check-in and check-out dates and times if enabled in the Attendance Detail’s block settings.
Person Attributes - If enabled in the block’s settings, you can choose to display person attribute data for a given category. Separate categories can be selected for children and adults. You’ll probably want to select the same person attribute category that is used on the Roster page (e.g., Check-in Manager Roster Attributes).
Family Members - Each family member for the person being viewed is displayed here. Click on any family member to view the Check-in Manager profile for that person. You’ll find there are more features for parents, as noted here. In this example there isn’t any contact information for the children, but phone numbers and emails for the parents will be displayed on their profile.
In the person profile's block settings, there's an option to Share Person. If this feature is enabled, you'll see the share icon (ti ti-share) next to the person's name. Clicking the icon will generate a link that can be shared to edit that person's profile. This is great for situations where a room attendant needs to send the individual to a roaming staff person in order to quickly edit the person's record in Rock.
Selecting any row in the check-in history opens the Attendance Details page for that check-in. This is where you go when you need the full story of a single attendance instead of the summary the grid gives you.
What the Attendance Details Page Shows
Check-in - The exact date and time the person was checked in.
Change History - Every edit made to this attendance record, newest last, showing who made the change, how long ago and the value that moved. In the example above you can see that Location was changed from Puppies Room to Outpost Room, so nobody has to guess why the child ended up on a different roster.
Search Group Name - The family record the kiosk matched, listed with the adults in that family and their mobile numbers. Each name links to that person’s profile.
Search Type - How the person was looked up at the kiosk, such as Phone Number or Name.
Search Value - The value that was actually entered at the kiosk.
Select Edit to update the attendance record, including the check-in and check-out dates and times when those are enabled in the block settings. Delete removes the attendance record entirely.
Together, the search details and the change history answer "how did this happen?" If a child lands on the wrong roster, or a parent is sure they never checked anyone in, you can see which family the kiosk matched, what was typed to find it, which adults are attached to that number and every hand that touched the record since. That usually turns a confusing report into a two minute fix, like correcting a shared phone number or updating a family record.
