The Tithing Overview Report allows Rock Finance Teams (or your organization's leadership team) to see how their campuses are performing with overall estimated tithing. The estimations on this report could be used to foster discussions on how and when to encourage giving within your organization.

Tithing Households (%) represents the percentage of giving households estimated to be tithing. A "giving household" is defined as one that has contributed to a tax-deductible account within the past 365 days.

This report leverages US Census, location information, and average income figures to estimate potential tithe amounts, referred to as the "Tithe Index". For example, if the average household income for all 'givers' at a particular campus is $100,000, the Tithe Index would be $10,000, suggesting each person at that campus might tithe approximately $192 per week. Since average household income varies by postal code, the Tithe Index will differ across campuses, reflecting local economic conditions.

Rock comes populated with a schedule that runs once a week to calculate tithing metric data (you can adapt this schedule to meet your organization's needs if necessary). If needed, you can access this by going to Admin Tools > Settings > Schedules > Tithing Overview. The calculated data is stored into three separate metrics under Tools > Metrics > Tithing Overview.

There are two views within this report, the Bar Graph View and Line Graph View.
