Blog - Updated Documentation
Published: Jan 8, 2015
As most of you know, McKinley v2.0 dropped a little over a week ago. It includes numerous bug fixes
and several new features. We'll be covering many of these new features in a series of blog posts over
the next few weeks. One topic we wanted to discuss right away is the updated documentation available
for v2.0.
While we know that most people in the Rock community would love the opportunity to re-read every manual from start to
finish to take in all the new items, we realize between the NFL Play-offs and the airing of Downton Abbey
Season 5 (yes those in the UK, we’re just getting that now) time is in short supply. To help you keep up to
date with changes between Rock versions, we’ve added some new features to the online manuals. Let’s take a
quick look at each one.
The first thing you’ll want to know is which of the manuals have changed. You’ll notice a new button at the top of
the Manuals page that will display every manual that has been updated for each Rock release.
At the top of the book details page you’ll now see a version label for the manual you're currently reading.
Clicking on the version label allows you to switch to a different version (by default the latest version is always shown).
By far the coolest feature is the Show Changes Since drop-down. Selecting an older version will highlight all of
the changes made to the manual since the version you selected. This allows you to quickly read what's been updated
between versions, which gets you back to the Crawley's and Arizona Cardinals.
