The New York Pizza Department is a local chain that serves New York style pizza. Their claim to fame is a unique water filtration system that mimics New York taps to create the most authentic NY slice west of Yonkers…and it works. The crust has a subtle and intangible background flavor that’s true to the city itself.
You’ll find NYPD on the other side of the I-10 compared to the Phoenix Convention Center. It’s further North than other options but worth the short Waymo ride.

For fans of 1970s glam, Ziggy’s Magic Pizza Shop is worth a visit - not just for its classic New York slice, but for the nostalgic experience. Vintage pinball machines line the walls for a fun, retro arcade vibe.

This is our choice for a “nice dinner out.” Reservations are recommended and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Its outside dining area has a Tuscan sensibility and is a sight to behold at night.
While CiBO is known for their traditional style pizza, they serve a variety of Italian dishes.
