Blog - Get Connected with v4.0

Rock is all about people. If you've tried out our workflows feature, you know the ins and outs of automated Rock processes to help move people from one state to another. But you may also have discovered how quickly they can become complicated and unwieldy when you're dealing with complex situations. Sometimes you just need a little bit more.

And you're in luck! Very soon, we will be releasing v4.0. One of our hottest new features is the Connections tool. With your familiar workflows as a backbone, Connections provide an extension that will solve your organization's people problems.

In most connection processes the goal will be to take a person who wants to be connected to a high-level opportunity and walk them through a series of steps or activities until they can be connected to a specific group. Connections are categorized by four statuses (e.g. "Active") and can record activities like "Called No Answer." They're easy to find, prominently displayed on the person profile page for at-a-glance overviews.
