Blog - Updated Hosting Requirements

As Rock progresses so too does the technology it rests on. On that note we want to notify the community far ahead of the Rock v4.0 release that this release will require SQL Server 2012 or better. SQL Server 2008 will no longer be supported.

This should not impact most of the community. Our hosting partners are all on 2012 or better. If you want to check the level of your database, you can run the following SQL statement under 'Admin Tools > Power Tools > SQL Command'.
